The whole experience of conception, pregnancy, giving birth, and beyond, is truly miraculous. It can, and should be, one of the most joyful times of your life. In essence, my role as a doula is to provide you with support, including information and resources so that you have the freedom to make informed choices about this experience.
The needs of your family, as well as your preferences, will determine whether or not you choose to have a birth or postpartum doula, or both. Check out the information provided about the roles and benefits of each, as well as some of the links in the resources page.
